About Me

I'm Katherine, and I'm a graphic designer based in DC. My work has been covered in The New York Times, CNN, and more, and I have been recognized with four Anthem Awards for my work supporting non-profits (1 | 2 | 3 | 4).
I'm currently a Senior Designer at Blue State, where I have led a range of projects, including UI design, branding, animation, email and SMS graphics, and print. My clients have included major non-profits, including Doctors Without Borders, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics International, CARE, National Eczema Association, and more.

Previously, I worked at Six Half Dozen In my time at 6HD, I worked on publication design, digital-first design, motion graphics, and more. Clients ranged from non profits to local businesses. I also led the agency to focus more on digital-first media and managed and designed all content for 6HD's social media accounts.
Previously, I worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Rising Tide Interactive, where I created social media ads, email graphics, motion graphics, and more for clients including the NDRC, MJ Hegar for Senate, Mark Warner for Senate, Texas Democrats, and many more. My work with RTI received coverage in The New York Times, CNN, and more.

I graduated from Tufts University with a double major in English and economics and a minor in studio art. In my time there, I was the Editor-in-Chief of Melisma Magazine, where I led print and web production of magazine issues, and Art Director of Imaginet, Tufts' student-let advertising agency.
